THE ACADEMY

About Gablewoods Academy

Gablewoods Academy is a small, home-based academy for girls centered around beautiful, useful, old-fashioned skills. Gable girls will sew, bake, paint, host, embroider, garden, decorate, tablescape and so much more.

Gatherings & Events

Gablewoods is more than our weekly workshops. Throughout the year, girls will have opportunities for special Gable Girls Gatherings, open studio days, seasonal events, fair preparation, and our year-end showcase.

These experiences are part of the Academy and may occasionally take the place on a Friday or Saturday and include all Gable Girls.

We also hope to support and encourage the girls to prepare and enter their work in the local fair, with open studio time available during certain weeks for finishing projects and getting them ready to exhibit.

The year culminates in a special Gablewoods Showcase, where the girls have the opportunity to bring many of their skills together and share what they have learned and created with their families.

These special days are part of the hours and experiences included in Gablewoods Academy tuition.
