A Note from Christina

I'm the mother and maker behind Gablewoods Academy.

My best days have been spent around a table with my girls—sewing, baking, creating, learning, and making ordinary days feel a little more beautiful. 

Gablewoods Academy grew from a desire to make more room for that kind of girlhood — the kind you find in "Anne of Green Gables" and "Little Women" — a place for girls to gather, learn beautiful and useful skills, create with their hands, use their imaginations, and simply enjoy being girls.

This fall, I'm opening my home for the first Gablewoods Academy enrollments here in Susanville. I can't wait to welcome the first Gable Girls around our table.
